Pssst.... Your Child is Awesome!

As parents and educators, we understand how challenging a time this is for young people. There are many social pressures, and with the Covid pandemic, our kids' social lives are even more complicated.

As a parent, it's hard to know how you can support your child through this difficult time. You may be nervous to say or do the wrong thing, and make things worse.

This interactive 4-week course is for both parents and kids (aged 9 - 14), and will give you a better way to understand yourselves and each other.

You will learn what bullying is, what to do when it happens, and how to report it. In addition, you will both learn many pro-social skills to combat and avoid bullying altogether.

This course consists of four live sessions (approx. 45 minutes in length), plus a workbook with practice activities and next steps! Sending your kids to school is stressful, but this can be one less thing on your mind.

Wanna know the BEST news? This course is normally valued at $99, but we're offering a SPECIAL deal-- this session only! Now the full course is available for $37! All we ask is that you provide feedback afterwards.

Hi! We're Dali & Amy!

All About Dali....

I am a parenting coach specialized in bullying awareness & prevention education for parents of middle school age kids. I help parents learn how to advocate for their kids, and get them through the experience in a healthy way.

I am the creator of the creator of the Diversity & Anti-Bullying Academy (#DABA) and owner of DaliTalks, L.L.C.

I am a U.S. Army veteran, speaker, parent to two teen girls, and wife of a U.S. Army veteran with a master’s degree in Women & Gender Studies from Towson University in Towson, Maryland.

My passion to stop bullying comes from my own personal experiences as a bullied child and from having become an advocate for children, to include my own. I have dedicated myself to share my knowledge to help families thrive, and promote equality in their own communities.

All About Amy....

Hi! I'm Amy. I'm a single mama bear of two rambunctious cubs living in Calgary, Canada.

As a certificated classroom teacher, I spent the first few years of my career teaching special ed in the classroom, and supporting special needs families in their homes.

Recently, I transitioned to teaching online during Covid, then in a regular classroom. In both my special ed and regular ed classrooms, I realize that one of my favorite things was working with parents to provide a better life for parents and kids.

I believe that parents are doing their best, and I can help parents find places to simplify, so they can avoid burnout. For more information, you can check me out at www.buildingstrongerrelationships.com!

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to commit to all four meetings?

It's best if you can be there for all four. If you can't make it to one meeting, you can do the reading in the workbook, and can connect with a friend who's also doing the course!

Will the sessions be recorded?

The sessions will be live, and will not be recorded, for the privacy of the participants. We wants folks to feel comfortable sharing, and if it's being recorded, that may prevents people from wanting to share.

When will they take place?

The first meeting will take place on Tuesday, August 30 at 6 o'clock EST. (Here is a time zone converter.) The rest of the meetings will be on the next three Tuesdays (Sept 6, 13, 20 at 6:00PM EST). You will be emailed Zoom links for the rest of the meetings.

Is the price for one meeting, or all four?

The whole course is $37-- all four meetings!

Why is the price so low?

There are two reasons why we've priced this course so low.
First, we want everyone to have access to this important information, and we don't want cost to be a barrier.
Second, this is our introductory price-- this is our first time offering this fab course, and your feedback is important to us! We'd love to hear what was useful (and what wasn't as useful) to you. After this session, the course price will be raised to $99 USD.

What will be covered in the course?

We start by understanding our own identities (parents and children), and why being ourselves matters. Then we talk about how make sure that you have the skills to navigate social situations. Next, we'll talk about pragmatics-- how to stay safe, and how to ask for help if something goes wrong.

Is this course for kids or parents?

This course is for parents, but we highly encourage you to have your child participate in the course as well. A large part of your work as a parent is to examine your own identities and biases. Most of the activities are for both the parent and the child, but some are for just one or the other. (We will tell you who it's for before we start each activity.)

Are you real?

We are real-- 100%! We are both moms and educators on a mission to build a safer and more equitable world for our children. We have created the course ourselves, and will be teaching it live!
